Create your podcast through Podcastics' main features

    Podcastics • Community

If your podcast is still in the making, we suggest you first read our piece on the five-step creation process, as well as Podcastics’ guide on how to structure your podcast. However, if it is already live, you might find these tips helpful, as they will assist you in getting the best out of our platform and its features! ⤵️

QR CODES THAT HELP YOU SHARE YOUR PODCAST

Ever heard about our magic link? It automatically redirects your visitors to the right place based on the device they are using – Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, or even your website.

Now, consider the possibilities this magic link offers when coupled with a QR code. For instance, you can add this QR code to your flyers so people can instantly access your podcast from their smartphones. Furthermore, we've ensured that the colors 🎨 of your QR code match those of your podcast.

A HEAT MAP THAT HIGHLIGHTS YOUR ACTIVITY

If you are already familiar with our stats, you know that Podcastics provides you with a heat map that shows when your podcast is most listened to throughout the week. It is a good way to understand your listeners' habits so you can adjust your strategy when it comes to launching your episodes. Based on subscriber feedback, we have added two features:

    • The day you posted each episode;
    • A date selector so you can have an overview of the last month only, this year, or any other selected time frame.

DUPLICATE YOUR EPISODES TO SAVE SOME TIME

episode-duplication_zoom.png.1357d82b06bc97b0efb2be1f82140b57.pngAs explained in our piece on how to introduce an episode, this is no formality, let alone a chore. Don't just copy-paste the description of your previous episode. In fact, more people will enjoy your description if it's not just a copy of the previous one. Yet, you should stick to the same structure, as coherence is like your podcast identity. Some parts will not change from one episode to another, like the list of your staff members or the credit roll. So, why write a description per episode?

Podcastics has implemented a simple tool that will save you loads of time – episode duplication. One click and it automatically duplicates the description of the previous episode for the next one. You only need to change a few bits, and you are good to go!

    SPECIFIC FORMATS FOR YOUR PARAGRAPHS

Audio quality is important, but so are your texts, as your introduction pieces and articles are like the shop front of your podcast. It is often where visitors make first contact with your content; if they like what they read, they might turn into new listeners.

Therefore, do not write long, boring descriptions. Make them as punchy as your podcast. Here again, Podcastics provides you with formatting tools. Our specific paragraphs make your texts punchier and highlight key information:

    A few tips…

    A bit more color…

    Some pieces of advice…

    See what we mean?

    A couple of trigger warnings…

These tools should be used with caution, of course.

AUTOMATIC INTEGRATION OF YOUR VIDEOS, X POSTS, AND EXTERNAL AUDIO PLAYERS

As mentioned previously, Podcastics is not just a podcast hosting platform. We have developed a range of tools to make it easier for you to reach and interact with new listeners.

Your website is the main hub of all these tools. Regardless of the subscription you choose, Podcastics creates a website for your podcast. Even the charged subscriptions – starting with the Premium pack – come with better websites that you can personalize and improve with articles.

Welsh Gros! is a fake podcast website where you can see all the things that can be done on our text editor, like the easy integration of many types of content. If you are not comfortable with IT or coding, just keep in mind that the format will be automatically adjusted even if you just copy-paste the link of the content it redirects to – YouTube, Dailymotion, or Viméo videos; X, Instagram, or Reddit posts; external audio players like Spotify, SoundCloud, or Mixcloud; GIFs of all sorts (you know we LOVE them).

integration-example.png.3f620bf49195f736fdcfbc3facee5989.pngSpeaking of GIFs, you can access Giphy via the button on the top right-hand corner of the text editor (see picture).

Of course, you can use all these wonderful tools to edit your episode descriptions. You can add notes about videos, X, Instagram, and Facebook posts, and files that people could download. These notes will not appear on platforms like Apple Podcasts but will on your Podcastics website. It is the best way to share information with your community.

BOND WITH YOUR COMMUNITY THROUGH OUR SOCIAL TOOLS

en_messages_zoom.png.8b2c07599415d1937991df5621915e48.pngIt is great to have a nice website with nice articles, but it does not help interactions. No worries, we have your back. Social features have always been at the heart of the Podcastics project. For instance, your listeners can leave a review and a comment on your podcast, reply to polls and even say what they think of your episodes in the comment section. They can rely on the same tools as you. They can integrate automatic content integration (videos, X posts, etc.), add files, tag other members, etc. Believe us, nothing compares to these tools when it comes to interacting with your audience.

Of course, you can chat in private through your inbox, as it features the same tools as the text editor.

Don’t be afraid to get lost as you can personalize your Podcastics notification options so you can track everything related to your podcast without having to always keep an eye on your screen. New episodes, reviews, rates, comments, stats, mentions – they will be sent to you in real-time based on your selection. The same thing goes for the Apple Podcasts reviews – they will be automatically imported to Podcastics, and you will get a notification.

    SOME MORE FOR THE ROAD?

It takes a book to cover all our features in detail, especially as we keep developing new ones on a regular basis. Here is a short introduction to some of the latest tools that have been added to Podcastics.

    Sets of episodes

You can help your audience get a clearer view of your many episodes by sorting them into sets. It is both easy and useful to group them based on their main topics.

    Automatic descriptions

The descriptions might include the same bits from one episode to another, like your credits, your social media accounts, your message asking listeners to give a 5-star rate, a sponsor, etc. It would be quite boring and time-consuming to write all this from scratch every time.

Podcastics has found the solution. With the automatic descriptions, you can centralize the management of your content and save a lot of time! 🤖

    Intros and outros

What about automatically adding audio content before and after each episode? This super handy tool had been added to the Max and Extreme Podcastics subscriptions.

This audio content can as well be credits, acknowledgments, a call to subscription, etc. You won’t need to edit anything as it takes just a couple of clicks to make changes.

You can add as many intros and outros as you like, be it to just one or several episodes, and sort them as you like. You may also add text descriptions that will be automatically added to your episodes. 😍

    Sponsoring management

Podcastics’ Extreme subscription pack includes high-end tools that help you manage your sponsoring campaigns. You can add your sponsorship either pre-roll or post-roll, but you may also schedule and prioritize it as well as set an audience limit. You can also make them come one after another and completely book your schedule. Each campaign may also be automatically integrated into a message in your episode descriptions.
