Descriptions, intros, outros: with Podcastics, your content becomes automatic!

    Podcastics • Community

Does your podcast rely on repetitive content ? It's only natural! Podcastics makes your life easier by offering you the possibility of automating your episode descriptions, credits and conclusions. Come on over here: we'll explain everything!

Does your podcast stand out for its originality? We'll take your word for it! However, from one episode to the next, you're likely to use repetitive content: either in the episode descriptions that appear on listening platforms, or with your opening credits or your conclusion. In either case, you can count on Podcastics to be a huge time saver!

    Automated descriptions: fully centralized management

Your episode descriptions often contain identical content from one episode to the next. This may be credits, links to your social networks, an advertising message from a sponsor, or a message inviting your listeners to rate your podcast.

The problem is that when you want to change this content you have to edit all your episodes 😒. You've no doubt already experienced this: it's both time-consuming and tedious. To save you precious time, Podcastics has come up with automated descriptions. With them, you can manage all your content centrally 🤩

To access descriptions snippets, go to your Podcastics interface, then select the Episodes tab in the left-hand column. You then have two options in the top right-hand corner: “Add an episode” or view your “Descriptions”. If you haven't created one yet, you'll be able to do so once you've clicked on this button.

When you'll need to modify a description for whatever reason, you'll be able to select the episodes to which you want to apply this modification with a single click: to a single episode, to a handful of them, or even to your entire catalog. An essentially tedious task becomes a matter of a few clicks 😍

    Flexibility, flexibility and more flexibility!

With Podcastics, you have total freedom with your episode descriptions. You can create as many as you like, rearrange them at will, add them to any episode or, conversely, delete them from any episode. You're the boss!

Automated intros and outros: a helping hand included in our Max and Extreme plans

Don't tell us you're one of those people who starts from scratch before each episode? More often than not, your podcast will be based on a repetitive framework that may include the same credits, the same thank-you notes or the same invitation to your listeners to subscribe to your podcast.

As with episode descriptions, Podcastics offers you the option of automating the addition of this audio content before or after your episodes. Once again, any future changes will be made in a single click, without the need for hours of editing.

You can add as many intros and outros as you like, to all or just some of your episodes, and then reorder them easily. The icing on the cake: for each audio track, you can specify a textual description that will also be automatically added to your episodes.

Please note: this handy tool is only available as part of the Podcastics Max and Extreme plans. To discover the features included in each of our subscription packages, go to this page!
