Why host your podcast on Podcastics?

    Podcastics • Community

If you are looking for a platform to host your podcast, you may wonder why choosing Podcastics. Well, Podcastics has a lot more to offer than its competitors. Here is a list of our assets as well as feedback from our users.

Looking for a podcast host is like trying to pick a show on Netflix. There is a wide range of options available, and each one is unique šŸ¦„, though they are not all as good and may not correspond to your taste, expectations, or standards based on people’s reviews.

Yet, the consequences are not the same. Picking the wrong podcast host does not only mean spending a bad evening. It may be a waste of time and money as well as mental health. We don’t quite agree with the saying that no choice is the worst choice. There are lots of potential wrong choices when it comes to podcast hosting. Not that we want to put the blame on our competitors. Podcast hosts are like coffee ā˜•, wine šŸ·, or 80s songs šŸŽ¤ – some are great, some are random.

We relate more to Joseph O’Connor and Albert Camus – You always have a choice. Life is a sum of all your choices. Your podcast could have said that, as it is the result of all your choices, be it in terms of format, microphone, room where you record, and, of course, the host. Harry Potter šŸ§™, who would have been a great podcaster, and Dumbledore were pretty much on the same page – ā€œIt is our choices that show who we truly are, far more than our abilities.ā€ Don’t just rely on your talent and take the time to pick the right host for your podcast.

    Ā

Feature comparison charts tell a biased truth.

When looking for the best host, you may come across charts that compare the features of all the podcast hosts, some boxes being ticked while others are left empty. These charts reflect just a part of reality – when a box is ticked āŽ, it does not say anything about the quality of the feature. Yet, things are not either black or white, and this binary way of doing things is an open door to mediocrity.

It is like a chart comparing two cars without any form of difference – seats CHECK, rearview mirrors CHECK, fuel tank CHECK, lights CHECK, etc. Not only would an old car get the same review as the latest Ferrari, but this type of thing already exists; it is called a vehicle safety inspection.

Well, a podcast host comparison chart is just like a vehicle test. It does not tell you what a host has to offer for real šŸ’Ŗ, nor does it highlight the differences between the various hosts regarding how they work and the accuracy of their features. This guide is meant to give you a clearer idea of what you want, so is Podcastics’ one-month free trial.

    PODCASTICS IS ALL ABOUT HOSTING

Just like a boss is meant to boss, a host is meant to host. When you book a room on AirBnB, you expect it to be clean, the bed to be comfy, the equipment to cover your needs, your host to be honest and available, etc. Hosts can even go further by leaving a nice bottle šŸ¾ for you to drink or picking you up at the station šŸš•, but it is not what you expect from them.

The good news is that Podcastics has perfected its core business before crafting fancy options. Our bed šŸ›ļø is the comfiest, we live in the coolest neighborhood, and our cleaners are the most discrete, competent, and available on the market. Let’s drop the extended metaphor and focus on what we think we do better than, or at least as well as, our competitors:

    • Podcastics offers true unlimited hosting. There is no monthly file limit, no maximum duration per episode, no maximum number of partners who can access and manage your podcast data (if you request it), and we don’t push you into getting a more expensive subscription every month.
    • Podcastics offers a true website. It is not just a blog or an unstructured page. You can customize and format anything you want – written pieces, polls, multimedia content (images, videos, files), social media posts, etc. This website gives you the freedom you need for your podcast, so much so that you can integrate a player for your episodes and easy access to most platforms.
    • Podcastics offers thorough statistics. It has been our priority since we started (Podcastics being a portmanteau word based on Podcast + Analytics). We deliver easy-to-read, reliable data. Here again, the sky is the limit. You can compare the performance of your latest episode to the previous one only a few hours after it was published. As for our heat map, it is the most thorough and relevant on the market. It displays the days and times when your podcast is the most listened to. Check our article on stats if you want to see how far Podcastics goes when it comes to data.

    Ā

    • Podcastics offers truly relevant features. They are not meant to increase our fees but to match your needs. We have been podcasters ourselves for 15 years; our experience has helped us build the most complete toolbox. We will save you time at every step of the upload and distribution process of your episodes. You will find more information here ā¬‡ļøā¬‡ļøā¬‡ļø.

    Ā

    PODCASTICS MAKES THINGS SIMPLE

What is the point of having access to dozens of features if you are not able to make the most of them? Everything is easy on Podcastics! We have a very clear interface and website. Our clients love our user-friendly platform, and there is no doubt you will agree if you join us.

For instance, our assistance propagates your podcast on all platforms in a heartbeat. It could not be easier; it takes just a few clicks to appear as if by magic on Spotify, Amazon, Google Podcasts, or Apple Podcasts.

Podcastics is also available in a mobile version šŸ“±. You may think it is normal, and you are right, but note that it is one of the biggest flaws of most hosts, something they carefully fail to mention. Most people – roughly 75% – listen to podcasts on their mobile devices. It is then important to know that you can rely on a fully mobile platform where you can edit anything as easily as on a computer.

We could give you many other examples, but let’s focus on our scheduling module. On Podcastics, you can either publish your episode now or schedule publication for later. You can also make it public, private, or post it ā€œunlistedā€, which means that only people who have the link can listen to it. It has several advantages, the main one being that you can give access to the episode to your pundits or Patreon subscribers. It means that the episode is not available for people to listen to in the first place but can be scheduled for publication without having to use the interface again. With Podcastics, you can schedule everything in advance, so the episode becomes public on the day of your choice. We have your back!

Whatever your needs, we have what you need!

If you work for a public agency, you can also pay for your subscription in administrative money order through Chorus Pro. If you are a studio or an agency, you may like our customer account management. If you work in a team, you can allocate specific roles – Admin, Manager, Analyst – with specific rights to your team members.

    Ā

    ENJOY PODCASTICS’ UNIQUE FEATURES

If you have not had enough already, let’s review the features that you barely ever get with other hosts.

    Podcastics and social media

en_messages_zoom.png.b1e31245b0a1ca83395f7f249238def9.pngAs mentioned previously, Podcastics has always been about statistics, and the same motto applies to social media. No host compares to Podcastics when it comes to helping creators bond with their audience, even though making podcasts is a matter of sharing.

Your listeners can subscribe to podcasts and get notifications šŸ”” on Podcastics. They will not miss anything. They can also leave comments, reviews, and rates. Communication being a two-way thing, Podcastics also offers you a private inbox šŸ“ so you can chat with your listeners.

Podcastics’ magic link really is smart

You can also share your podcasts with your listeners by sharing the web page of a specific episode. Podcastics has added important features to this web page:

    • A big button to play the episode
    • Info on the episode
    • A subscribe button and a contact button
    • All the Apple, Spotify, Google, Deezer, Amazon, etc. buttons

You can also go for the magic link, which will automatically redirect people to the right place – Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, or your website – based on the device they are using.

We also provide you with a QR Code that you can print on handouts so people can scan them with their smartphone and reach your podcast straight away. We've ensured that the colors šŸŽØ of your QR code match those of your podcast. Cute, isn't it?

Podcastics’ sets of episodes – the ultimate sorting tool

Here is something you don’t think about when you start your podcast but that proves useful once you reach a certain number of episodes.

You can help your audience get a clearer view of your many episodes by sorting them into sets. It is both easy and useful to group them based on their main topics.

    Feedback from Expat Heroes’ Cristina

Sets are useful when you have many episodes like I do. It helps me put my interviews forward sorting them by themes. My audience cares more about what they will find in the episodes rather than their chronological order. So, instead of scrolling down season by season to find the right episode, they can search the ā€˜sets’ on my website. And I guess it boosts SEO too!

    Ā

Autopilot for descriptions, intros, and outros

The descriptions might include the same bits from one episode to another, like your credits, your social media accounts, your message asking listeners to give a 5-star rate, a sponsor, etc. It would be quite boring and time-consuming to write all this from scratch every time.

en_desc-snippets_zoom.png.f9f6f58fed0a2d32657371dff11ae892.pngPodcastics has found the solution. With automatic descriptions, you can centralize the management of your content and save a lot of time! šŸ¤–

What about automatically adding audio content before and after each episode? This super handy tool had been added to the Max and Extreme Podcastics subscriptions. This audio content can as well be credits, acknowledgments, a call to subscription, etc. You won’t need to edit anything, as it takes just a couple of clicks to make changes. You can add as many intros and outros as you like, be it to just one or several episodes, and sort them as you like. You may also add a text description that will be automatically added to your episodes.

    Sponsoring made easy

Podcastics’ Extreme subscription pack includes high-end tools that help you manage your sponsoring campaigns. You can add your sponsorship either pre-roll or post-roll, but you may also schedule and prioritize it as well as set an audience limit. You can also make them come one after another and completely book your schedule. Each campaign may also be automatically integrated into a message in your episode descriptions.

    PODCASTICS CARES ABOUT ITS CUSTOMERS

As you may have noticed, Podcastics is among the cheapest podcast hosts. There is no overcharging šŸ’ø for useless additional services, and, of course, you get a one-month free trial to see if it suits your needs. We are not the only ones to offer that, of course, but at least, we don’t ask you to register your credit card details.

We care so much about your visibility that the five Podcastics audio players are in white – for free! It means that the Podcastics brand does not appear on your players because we think they are made to promote your podcast, not your host! It is your work, not ours after all…

If you ever get the opportunity to monetize your podcast, you will remain free. On Podcastics, you can choose the sponsoring format you want. You are the only one in charge of which episodes you want to monetize. The management is not allowed to access a non-monetized episode. It shows how important it is to split the host and the management. Also, this model leaves you in charge of the future of the management without having to change host. Naturally, Podcastics does not earn anything out of the money you make.

Last, but not least, we offer you the quickest and most considerate customer service. You won’t have to wait for hours to get help or a response from us. You might even be surprised by the time and energy we spend trying to be there for you when you need us. Check out our customer reviews, and you will see that the quality of our support is the one thing they love the most. And we will keep working hard on that ā¤ļø.

    User Feedback

    Recommended Comments

I'm going to make this comment because I should.

Because I am actually SAD that I cannot, at the present time, use Podcastics, due to a combination of struggles, including a fight with cancer, that have absolutely nothing with Podcastics.

I'm making this comment because I love this company more than any other podcast hosting.

....because I had the BEST experiences while using the platform.

...because EVERY interaction with their support team was nothing less than STELLAR.

Out of 5 stars, I would give seven.

If you knew me personally, you'd ask why?

I'm not a nice man. Highly disagreeable. I pick at things and expect to get value from every penny I spend. I don't let people off the hook, and hold others accountable when they work with and interact with me. Case in point, after being a customer of Bluehost for 17 years, I walked away from their internet hosting because they have cut corners, lied, stolen, and have become a mere shadow of a once great company...now a bane of the industry. I will recommend people away from them from this point forward.

    Podcastics is the exact opposite.

The quality of services, the support you receive, your ROI for every penny you spend could not be put to better use. I'm not saying they are perfect (no one is),....but again they thrive, because they WANT your feedback. They LISTEN to their customers.

Short and simple, with Podcastics, YOU....the client....MATTER.

    What a concept, eh?

To prove this, I talked about it during a video yesterday -- before I saw this article -- and I am NOT a Podcastics customer at present. I am not an affiliate (don't even know if they do that). They earned my loyalty while I was with them as a delighted user, and I will continue to recommend they at every turn.

    Here's the video: https://www.lifeoffiction.com/p/morning-coffee-13

(Forward to minute 18 and you'll see my review and recommendation of Podcastics)

THAT'S how good this company is in quality, value, and service...they kept my loyalty, even after I had to leave.

There. I'll get off my soapbox now.

If you're looking for podcast hosting, Podcastics is THE best choice.

So make the smart move and sign up.

    ...cause I can't fix stupid.
