Real exclusivity and exceptional moment with Chris Gladwin at Ocient HQ in Chicago for the recording of the interview for The French Storage Podcast.

We started to speak about of course the leader and one of the pioneer of object storage Cleversafe that landed finally at IBM for $1.3B in 2015, the only big acquisition in that space that triggered some dreams at others' mind but no one did this. We learn a lot of things of the Ocient story, the genesis of the project, how it get started, how Chris thought about it and above all the product itself, what challenges it addresses, how the team does that with a new architecture that leverage NVMe, PCIe lanes and CPUs cores plus a tons of others clever things to optimize everything at massive scale. Real pleasure again to meet and discuss with someone who disrupts and has/had a serious impact on our industry several times. Thank you Chris.
