It's a special edition of The Brenda Fix! Brenda is currently curating an art exhibit at Understudy, a free exhibition space housed in the Colorado Convention Center in Denver. The exhibit, "Disability Pride and The Arts", is open from October 7th - October 30th, 2022. It will feature works by Luanne Burke, Merhia Wiese, Elliot Wiese, and Maggie Wiese.
In today's episode, Brenda interviews Merhia Wiese. Merhia is a multi-disciplinary artist, and she and Brenda discuss her childhood, her ADD diagnosis, motherhood, and other topics.
The Brenda Fix will feature an interview with each Understudy artist every week during the month of October.
