164 - Interview with Amir Faintuch, CEO, Volumez

Season 4, episode 164
33 min / Published

Volumez, new comer in the storage galaxy, joined the recent IT Press Tour in California and it was the perfect opportunity to learn more about what they do with the idea to share this with the world. The team has developed a radical new storage approach leveraging the cloud, NVMe, Kubernetes and other key elements to provide a very easy way to build high performant and high resilient block storage volumes for Linux machines. So I decided to record a new episode with Amir Faintuch, CEO of Volumez, and we spoke about the genesis of the project, why Amir joined the adventure, how this approach is really different with a compelling value proposition, use cases and references, the go to market and pricing model and we conclude with the future directions for the company and the product. Enjoy the listening. Thank you Amir.
