ISC 2024 took place in Hamburg, Germany, this week and it was the opportunity to meet vendors, discuss with various people, attend sessions and see some sort of convergence between HPC and AI as they some similarities or at least some constraints at sale. We saw several parallel file system vendors, flash at many places, a few HDD resistance, tape as well, of curse GPU and alterantives... in a nutshell a good show. Enjoy the listening.
