Featuring not one, not two, but three guests on this month's guest episode!

Four years ago, Julie said yes to something small that became something life-changing—an online Monday morning prayer group. What she didn’t know then was how God would use it to deepen her faith, surround her with prayerful friends, and knit together a sisterhood she didn’t even know she needed. In this special episode, Julie is joined by three of those friends—Natalie Ogbourne, Pamela Henkelman, and Rachel Fahrenbach—to celebrate four years of praying together, the beauty of friendship rooted in Christ, and God’s goodness in bringing them together. During a girls' weekend in St. Louis, they pulled up the mic and recorded this uplifting conversation you won’t want to miss!

Join Abundant Life Mentor, Julie Lefebure, each Tuesday morning as she offers real encouragement for your real life right now through a fresh, hope-filled perspective, a lighthearted inspiration, and Biblical insight, all in about 15 minutes (guest shows are longer). Each episode will lift your spirits and equip you to be a light in this world. Find extra encouragement at julielefebure.com/resources/.

Show notes

It's our guest episode for the month, and I don't have just one guest joining me today; I have three! All year long I'm inviting guests on the podcast who have impacted my life in positive ways, and these three certainly have. I've been meeting with them online weekly for four years to pray for each other. Listen in to hear what happens when four women show up to pray, how prayer has impacted each of us, and what abundant life means to these amazing women: Natalie Ogbourne, Pamela Henkelman, and Rachel Fahrenbach!

You know when you get that nudge from God that He wants you to do something? You get them, too right? I remember a nudge four years ago: it was to say yes to joining a brand-new online prayer group on Monday mornings. And two months ago, a nudge was to feature the women of this group as guests for this month's guest episode!

So, here we are today! I'm excited to share the lively and fun conversation we had during our first-ever weekend together in St. Louis last month. (Five are in our group, but Libby couldn't make the trip.) On Saturday morning of that fun weekend, we sat around our Airbnb's kitchen table, I opened my laptop, turned on the camera and mic, and hit record.

This is the result.

What if I wouldn't have said yes to joining this prayer group four years ago? I think about God's blessings I would have missed and how these women wouldn't be in my life like they are today. I can't comprehend that.

It's amazing what happens when women show up to pray. Prayer is what originally connected us and it's what keeps us connected--not just to each other, but ultimately to God. Do you have a group you pray with on a regular basis? I highly suggest finding one or creating one. God will do the incredible when you show up to pray.

You can find more about each of these dear friends in the show notes, and I encourage you to connect with them. You'll be encouraged through their online and social media spaces.

Next week we resume our Summer of Abundance series as we explore the power of our words and how speaking life is the gateway to living a full life. Come back next Tuesday to be encouraged and inspired in your own abundant life!
