40) The Ring/Ringu (リング)

The Ring is a 2002 horror film directed by Gore Verbinski, written by Ehren Kruger, and starring Naomi Watts, Martin Henderson and David Dorfman. It is a remake of Hideo Nakata's 1998 film Ringu.

 

Ringu (リング) is a 1998 Japanese horror film directed by Hideo Nakata and starring Nanako Matsushima, Hiroyuki Sanada, and Rikiya Ōtaka. Both films are based on the 1991 novel Ring  by Koji Suzuki.
