53. Clearing out What's Gone, Creating the Future, from Sherman, J. - IQ #12
No way to go back and produce that desirable stellar performance, right? What about conjure up what's available now, and produce a new outcome?
Athletes, as with any other person, 🔮 might get stuck into some misfortune that happened in the past. What about clearing that out from one’s mind ⚾ and catch the opportunities we have at each present moment, in order to get closer to the outcome we want?
This Quote for today’s IQ, although seemingly simple, it has some intricacies that can spur up some discussion. And taking that in consideration I approached it from some angles. And between all I call into attention some more deep work one might consider doing psychologically - hinting for Psychotherapy - nothing wrong about that (by the contrary! All right pretty possibly)
This comes from a not well known author (James R Sherman) from his book “Rejection - How to Survive Rejection and Promote Acceptance” - and it is clearly about this key aspect that I talk on this IQ. So the Insight part will be on the Letting go spirit in a good sense, and in fact, a good follow up from previous interview with Psychologist Luís Gonçalves, on Mindfulness.
QUOTE: “Though no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending”.
