Utah State men’s basketball (13-1, 3-0 MW) closed out 2024 with a victory, wrapping up an undefeated three-game road trip with a 69-64 win over Nevada at the Lawlor Event Center. The Aggies used a big second half to come from behind in this one, sparked by a string of 17-straight points from fifth year guard Ian Martinez, who scored 17 of the team’s 19 points in the final seven minutes to secure the win. Utah State will now return home to open 2025 with a game against Fresno State on Saturday, Jan. 4. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m., at the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum. Hear reactions from Coach Jerrod Calhoun, players and fans.
