Colleen Boldon: Director, Digital Lab and Digital ID Programs at Service New Brunswick
- Colleen is a 30-year veteran of the Information Technology Industry with leadership roles in Private Sector, Academic and Government. Her extensive experience in public sector includes ICT Investment and Sector Development, the Information Highway, Employment Development, and IT Operations. As Director of Information and Technology at Department of Transportation, she was a Change Agent leading one of government’s largest most complex IT organizations through a multi-year restructuring program achieving significant budget and headcount reductions while increasing project and program efficiency. In the last 7 years, she led SNB’s Smart Province project through a Digital Identity Technical Proof of Concept and a Production Pilot at the Digital Lab with a mandate to leverage technologies to accelerate the integration, development and growth of Digital solutions in the public sector and represented New Brunswick on the Joint Councils Identity Management Sub-Committee (IMSC). She is currently a member of the Digital Authentication Council of Canada (DIACC) Board of Directors and their Trust Framework Expert Committee (TFEC) where she is seen as a key contributor to the development of national standards to support the Canadian Digital Economy called the Pan-Canadian Trust Framework (PCTF). She also serves on the CANARIE Trust and Identity Committee. Colleen holds a BBA from the University of New Brunswick. She is passionate about New Brunswick and a proud Canadian who has brought her knowledge and energy to many boards across the public sector, her community, and nationally. She has been recognized by SportNB for her contributions to the development of girls in Sport in New Brunswick and in 2021 she received national acknowledgement by DIACC for her work to support the development of the National Digital Identity Trust Framework.
Dave McKay: Identity Architect, Promulgare Consulting
- Dave has over 35 years of experience in the computer software industry and has released dozens of commercial applications and hundreds of custom projects over that time period. His main focus is on building a trust ecosystem for self-sovereign identity in Canada. He's an experienced software development executive with a focus on decentralized systems with full-stack and mobile integration and a blockchain and self-sovereign identity technology leader specializing in verifiable credentials, IoT, and healthcare. Dave wears many hats as the Identity Architect Promulgare Consulting and Northern Block (SSI), Fractional CTO for Relic Health Technologies (Healthcare), Artcryption (Art NFT platform), and NuBinary, Partial-load Professor at the George Brown College Blockchain Development Program (Ethereum & Hyperledger Fabric), Technical Lead for the Ryerson Cybersecurity Research Lab, Co-chair of the DIACC's Innovation Expert Committee, and Executive Director of the Canadian Credential Network (SSI).
