Ep 009 | From Malaysia To The Midwest

Episode 9
39 min / Published

Join us as we welcome our VIP Fan Jie! Fan Jie comes to us from Malaysia where he devotes much of his time to pharmacy. He is currently a hospital pharmacist and is passionate about policymaking. Fan Jie has truly enjoyed his time networking, learning new terminology, and how he can best apply new strategies when he returns to his home country. We believe Fan Jie was meant to spend his time with the NPA as he fits in perfectly and we’ve loved the humor he has brought to our team. He was excited to experience many things, but corn hats and Bud Light were two things high on his Nebraska Bucket List. You’ll have to listen to find out how those two situations played out for him! During this episode, we learn the key differences between how pharmacy works between The United States and Malaysia, including the schooling and training Fan Jie has received. One topic Fan Jie wanted to learn more about was medical cannabis, and we enjoyed hearing him share what he has learned during his time with us.

Please listen to today’s episode to learn what the NPA will be bringing to the 2023 legislative session.

Marcia, Raj, and Fan Jie traveled to the NCPA Conference in Kansas City - tune in to hear what conversations the team enjoyed most and what swag they ended up with.
