Summary
Discover how to find peace and stability in uncertain times by relying on the unchanging God. Embrace his love and presence.
Introduction: Our Unchanging God
The last few years feel as if they have been particularly uncertain, as we've lurched from the Coronavirus pandemic, to war and conflict, and the cost of living crisis, amongst other things. In times of uncertainty, it is natural to feel overwhelmed, anxious, and fearful. We often look for stability in the midst of chaos, searching for something or someone we can rely on. In Isaiah 43:1-4, we find the assurance that our unchanging God is the key to finding stability in every situation.
God Sees, Cares, and Acts
Our unchanging God sees what we are going through. He is not distant or unaware of our struggles. He cares deeply about every detail of our lives, including the challenges we face. Moreover, he has the power to change our circumstances. He is not limited by the uncertainties that surround us. His goodness prompts him to act on our behalf, working all things together for our ultimate good.
God's Unconditional Love
One of the most comforting aspects of our unchanging God is his unwavering love for us. His love is not based on our performance or the circumstances we find ourselves in. It is a love that is constant, steadfast, and unending. We can find solace in knowing that no matter what we are going through, God's love for us remains unchanged.
God's Constant Presence
Another source of stability in our unchanging God is his constant presence with us. He promises never to leave us or forsake us. In the midst of uncertainty, we can take comfort in the fact that we are not alone. God is always with us, guiding, comforting, and strengthening us.
Focusing on Our Unchanging God
Instead of allowing panic, worry, and anxiety to consume us, we can choose to focus on our unchanging God. By shifting our attention from the uncertainties around us to his unchanging character, we find peace and stability. Worshipping him for who he is reminds us of his faithfulness, power, and love, renewing our trust in him.
By keeping our eyes fixed on our unchanging God, we can find stability and peace even in the most uncertain times. He sees, cares, and acts on our behalf. His love is unwavering, and his presence is constant. Let's replace our panic, worry, and anxiety with worship of our unchanging God.
