Today's Battle Drill Devotional: God Instructs You to Rest!

Do you remember those safety posters they used to have at public swimming pools? No running, no pushing, no shouting, no ducking, no bombing and the one all parents dreaded having to explain to their children: no petting! They were on display because they were important. Ignore them and you could find yourself in serious trouble. If you ran, you might slip over on the wet floor. If you’re shouting, then the lifeguard might miss a cry for help. If you bombed into the pool, you might hit someone and injure them.

Your rest and restoration are so important to God, he made them a part of his big ten rules: the Ten Commandments.
