This week we remind ourselves that God, our Creator, is in control of the universe. The world does not depend on us! We can rest as we confess our trust in God.
Have you ever noticed the sequence God follows as he creates the universe?
Genesis marks each of the days as “evening passed and morning came.” Most of us mark our days as beginning with morning and ending in the evening. Following the creation sequence of evening followed by morning is a good reminder that as we go to sleep, God continues his work. The world does not depend on us!
