Book recommendation: The Gifts of Imperfection by Brené Brown - I blindly grabbed this book from a used book store a couple months ago completely not paying attention to what it was about. Shortly after recording this podcast, I blindly grabbed a book from my unread personal library asking to be guided to what I need right now. This book about vulnerability and embracing who you are is what I grabbed and am currently finishing presently. It is a perfect place to start if you are working on vulnerability.
If your vulnerability limitations are related to security/foundations - work on the Root If your vulnerability limitations are related to self-esteem - work on the Solar Plexus
If your vulnerability limitations are related to sexuality/relationships - work on the Sacral
Practice Gratitude - see the lessons in your experiences and growth with them.
Don't forget to Journal!
“Vulnerability is not weakness. And that myth is profoundly dangerous… Vulnerability is the birthplace of connection and the path to the feeling of worthiness. If it doesn’t feel vulnerable, the sharing is probably not constructive.” - Brené Brown
“I found that the more truthful and vulnerable I was, the more empowering it was for me.” - Alanis Morissette
