Episode 119 - Today. Today! Today, we are going in. This is the day we have been building up to, ever since we entered our Centering on Christ: The Tabernacle podcast series here at Gospel Spice. Literally thousands have joined us from all over the world.
And today--today, we are entering the Holy Place.
In the first half of our series so far, we’ve entered the outer court of the Tabernacle, separated from the people, set apart for an encounter with God.
We have sacrificed at the bronze altar, experiencing the cleansing of the Cross at salvation, where Christ died for us.
We have washed at the washbasin through baptism and a life of sanctification, because we have embraced our identity as fully set apart for Him, His royal priesthood.
We took time so that we would grasp the weight of the privilege that is ours.
And now, it all comes down to this moment: we are faced with the invitation to proceed into the presence of God and enter the holy place.
We have learned that only the priesthood was allowed into that hallowed space. In Christ, we are His royal priesthood, acquired at the great cost of His very life.
And today—now—is the time we reverently step in.
Holy hush.
Reverent awe.
Behold your God.
