37 min / Published

In this episode, Manish Joshi, CEO of Strathclyde Students Union, sits down with Managing Director and Founder of This is Milk, Angela Prentner-Smith.

A vocal advocate of equities, particularly gender roles, neurodiversity and human-centred business practices, Angela talks openly about her experience as a neurodiverse female and what led her to become her own boss. She also shares her personal experiences of gender bias and reflects on her career journey to date and what it means to be neurodivergent, where to get support, and what companies can do to attract more diverse thought leaders into their organisations.

Since launching This is Milk - a consultancy, training and technology business - Angela and her team have built a reputation as innovators and have created a brand and market position in a unique place in the Scottish market. As a vocal advocate of equities (particularly in gender roles, neurodiversity and human-centred business practices), Angela has ensured this is a core part of the This is Milk family of products, with the launch of Neve learning platform having won a prestigious CivTech challenge that aims to disrupt the world of workplace learning and deliver inclusive and personalised learning journeys.
