It’s Radical Love that Helps Your Corps to Grow
Today's Battle Drill Devotional: It's Radical Love that Helps Your Corps to Grow
You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had. (Philippians 2:5)
Read Philippians 2:1-11. Do you know what happens when you truly love those in your church or corps family? The answer is it grows! It stands to reason, doesn’t it? Often, it feels like love is in short supply in the world. So if someone comes across a community – a family – that really and truly loves each other, through thick and thin, often they are drawn into that community.
The Early Church saw phenomenal growth. Why? Because everyone could see how much they loved each other. They lived in wonderful harmony and shared everything with each other. The Church grew on a daily basis.
Wouldn’t you love to have that kind of growth in your church or corps? If you do, then you all need to love each other like the early Christians loved each other. People love being around those who love them. When a church or corps genuinely loves others, it will soon be time for a building scheme!
THINK IT OVER
Think about the following:
- Are you the kind of Christian that attracts people to Jesus or puts them off Christianity?
