Kate Taylor’s first album was in 1971 entitled SISTER KATE, and now Kate reunites in the studio with legendary producer & music artist Peter Asher and some of the original SISTER KATE musicians to make a new record. Guitarist Danny Kortchmar, bassist Leland Sklar, and drummer Russ Kunkel, who also played on brother James’ SWEET BABY JAMES, are among the SISTER KATE alumni who have returned to the studio with Ms. Taylor and Mr. Asher. Guitarists Albert Lee and Waddy Wachtel, along with violinist Scarlet Rivera, known for her work with Bob Dylan and the Rolling Thunder Revue, also play on this new album.
