WKXL and NH Unscripted hosted Matt Cahoon (Academic Dean), Kyrie Ellison-Keller (Associate Dir. of Theatre) and Kate Dugas (Technical Director) to discuss why they went to the New Hampton School in hopes of building a theatre program that would attract students interested in studying theatre at a high level as a way to prepare for the college audition process. In just about 2 years they have built a program that includes 9 courses and this year is the inaugural year of New Hampton’s Diploma with Distinction in the Arts which means that students can come here and basically major in theatre. A remarkable achievement and a tremendous interview.
