Our Mount Rushmore Movies of ‘25
On Season 5’s first bonus episode of Talking Movies with My Mom, we begin the new year with a look back on our Mount Rushmore of movies from 2025. Like last year, here’s how it works: the four heads on Mount Rushmore are assigned "Best of" categories and we pick our favorite movies that represent each one. And for the second time, neither of us knows which movies the other one chooses.
Now because categories like "Best Comedy" and "Best Drama" are so done, we came up with our own list:
"Best Movie that Deserved Better";
"Best Heebie-Jeebies Movie";
"Best All-the-Feels Movie";
"Best Out-of-this-World Movie";
And one to grow on — "Favorite Movie of the Year."
