Every once in awhile I like to spotlight up and coming groups with a lot of talent and today I’d like to showcase a new group called ROSENEATH from Richmond Virginia…
Taking influence from 90’s alternative classics as well as modern grunge, post-hardcore, and shoegaze bands, Richmond, VA’s Roseneath combines driving riffs with soaring melodies to create something new with a familiar nostalgia.
The music is for fans of Quicksand, Nirvana, Balance & Composure, Failure, Modern Color, Narrow Head, and Smashing Pumpkins.
The duo is made up of Brian George on guitar/bass, together with Jason Roberts commanding vocals and production (as well as some guitar/bass too). Whatever they might lack in official members, they more than make up for with expertly crafted tunes.
Out of the gate, the band absolutely smoked their debut release ‘SHINE’ receiving rave reviews.
‘NOWHERE SAFE ‘is the group’s brand-new album available to preorder now and officially released on June 16th, 2023.
