Today we’re joined by Clay Smith the son of Nebraska’s auto racing legend “Speedy” Bill Smith. Post World War II Nebraska had a thriving auto racing scene. Lincoln alone had 3 racetracks and attracted big names. Bill Smith fell in love with the sport at an early age and in the 60s turned his passion into a business that continues to benefit Nebraska’s local economy to this day.
