SS #027: Shane Gildnes

Fanny Alger's front man, and Nexxus pass holder.

1 hr 8 min / Published

Shane Gildnes was recommended to me by a lot of musician friends and he did not disappoint. He fills me in on the history of the local music scene and I can't wait to talk to him again already. His band, Fanny Alger, has a new album called "Vicious Badgers" and you can buy it at the corner of Minkler Rd and State St (only on full moons). You can also listen to them on Spotify, check out their FB page for upcoming shows. We talk about Canadian things, he shares stories about his friends from Pavlov Jones, I talk about Zach Michaud again and he plays three awesome tunes. I say this about most of my episodes but it's always true: This one is my favorite. Thanks Shane!

Love my intro song? Check out Clay Work. He is incredibly talented. He also hosts Trivia at Lyman Tavern on Tuesdays, and at District Brewing on Wednesdays.

Send me a message through our IG account: Skagit Storytellers. If you have a question, maybe I'll answer it in my intro, or if you have a comment, maybe I'll mention that too.
