SS #035: Bryan Typewriter

In the Spring of 2023, I worked at the Concrete Liquor Store. One day, a gentleman came in to inquire about the Underwood typewriter on one of our displays. I told him it probably wasn't for sale, but if he wanted an Underwood, I had several he could have. That's how I met my friend Bryan, and why I affectionately refer to him as "Bryan Typewriter". He's currently getting his pilot's license and is the father to a cute little toddler. I imagine Bryan like the Alfred character in Big Fish. He'll tell some pretty grandiose stories of adventuring and meeting weird and wonderful people to his son, and they might be met with skepticism because they *are* so grandiose. However, much like every single tale of the late, great Hunter S. Thompson, all of these stories are true and I'll bet my life on that. Just kidding. But, they're rad stories that you'll like too. Learn about how Bryan saved one President's life, and almost cost another one his life. This is a unique edition of Skagit Storytellers and I'm glad you're here to enjoy these stories. Meeting my friend and sharing his stories are the reasons why I started this podcast and I'm thankful that he put his trust in me to get these out.
