Episode 42! Aida Miller first crossed my path at the Concrete Theater when she opened for Jack Mattingly and the Enthusiasts. I was lucky enough to bartend that show and it was one of the busiest shows I've seen there. I hope that Aida returns to Concrete at a later date, or Sedro, or Burlington... really anywhere. As you'll hear in the episode, all you have to do is contact her and she'll come play for you. I loved this episode for several reasons, but I really liked the interaction between Aida and my daughter Olive talking about video games. As always, I'll apologize for my poor editing skills. I tried to get Olive's voice up in certain parts but that comes with downfalls too. Some time in the new year I'll be retooling my whole studio and maybe one of my friends who is great at sound will take pity on me and help me sort out the kinks! In typical Aida fashion, she re-recorded the song she originally played in my studio because it wasn't perfect 🙂 Please enjoy our conversation and I'll be sure to let you know if she performs anywhere soon.
