SS #054: Selena Mac
Another inspiring musician in the Skagit Valley
Episode 54!
Selena Mac was recommended to me by several musicians in this area. I'm so glad I sat down and heard her story about how she became a musician. I'm always under the assumption that good musicians are good because they started playing at a young age. Selena has only picked up the guitar within the last 5 years and she not only has her own band, Dangerous Curves, she also plays with Leo Bootes and Co AND in Cats Like Us with podcast favorite Miguel Garibay, Bob Paltrow and Stone Jones. This weekend they are playing up in Bellingham at Ramble Tamble from 7-10pm on Saturday night. To keep track of her upcoming gigs, go follow her on IG (@selena_mac_) or on Facebook. She's also playing solo at Brando's BBQ in Bow Edison on January 27th. Thank you for coming over Selena! I'm glad your story is out there (so far!) and I can't wait to see what 2024 brings. Check out her tunes on Spotify too.
This is my last episode of Season #1 of Skagit Storytellers. I am happy to be ending this season with Selena's great story. I'll see you guys in the Spring.
Be safe, be of use, and go do something hard.
