Lovaina Adams is a gendarme in Papeete. In addition to taking depositions from minors who have been sexually assaulted, she regularly visits schools in Tahiti and the outer islands to conduct prevention sessions. At the “Maison de protection des familles” (Family Protection Centre), she always encourages women who are victims of domestic violence to report such abuse.
