Key verses: 1 Kings 17:13-24
God sends Elijah to a widow's house during the intense famine and drought. She provides for Him through a continuous miracle of provision. Then, when her son dies, the prophet prays the prayer of resurrection over him and his soul returned to him and he was revived.
We are challenged to identify soulless, breathless, dead areas in our lives to bring to the Lord and have them revived. The miracle of resurrection stirred her faith more than the miracle of provision.
