Things We Do With All the Heart

Return to the Lord (1Ki. 8:48; Dt. 30:2)

- REPENT WHERE YOU ARE: Do not wait for the ideal circumstances or perfect life to return to God. Now is the time, wherever you find yourself. 

- ALL IN REPENTANCE: There is no such thing as partial repentance. It is all or nothing. 

- RETURN IS CONNECTED TO OBEDIENCE: When we return to the Lord, we commit to obey Him. To live a life pleasing to Him. We look at things His way and listen to His voice before we evaluate any other voice. We obey His word because we know He wants the best for us.

Walk before Him (1Ki. 2:4; 8:23)

ESTABLISHED BEFORE GOD: When we walk before the Lord with all our hearts, He establishes us. He promised David that his throne would be established forever if his sons walked before the Lord with all their hearts.

- THE LEADER IN YOU WILL RISE: His qualities will rise when we walk before the Lord. 

- GOD KEEPS COVENANT AND MERCY: A vibrant, connected, and valued life with God waits for those who walk before Him with all their hearts. 

Serve Him (Dt. 11:13; Josh. 22:5)

- UNLOCKS PROVISION OF GOD: In serving the Lord with all our hearts, we'll witness the provision and blessing of God. 

- CAREFUL HEED means “WHOLLY AND SPEEDILY”: A good servant carefully heeds God's instructions. According to the original language, that means wholly and speedily, or entirely and swiftly, two qualities we all need. 

Love Him (Dt. 30:6; Mt. 22:37)

To love God with all our hearts will cause us to live. The Hebrew word here means - BRINGS LIFE - ALIVE, FRESH, FLOWING, LIVELY, ACTIVE, REVIVING.
