Show notes

We continue our series on Things We Must Do With All Our Hearts, drawing insights from Scripture and expanding on them through the Holy Spirit's revelations.

Keep His word (Dt. 26:16)

The word here is "TO OBSERVE, TO OBEY, TO PUT IN ORDER." We order our lives according to God's word and not vice versa.

It also means “to accomplish, advance, appoint.” We endeavor to accomplish what God's word says in our lives and advance His gospel cause. We appoint or prioritize Him, making His will paramount.

Follow Him (1Ki. 14:8)

To follow God means “TO WALK.” It speaks of MOTION or a MANNER OF LIVING. We do not follow Him like robots without free will, but we live faithfully to Him to the best of our ability, regularly correcting our actions to stay accurate and close to Him.

Seek Him (2Chr. 15:12-15; 22:9)

Seeking God means to “TREAD A PLACE, FREQUENT A PLACE.” We go where He loves to go and do what He loves to do. In knowing Him, we can anticipate what He loves and honor Him through our lives.
