You and I are embarking on a journey that will take you to places in the Gospels that may feel very familiar. And yet, I suspect you might taste new flavors along the way. Or maybe your inquisitive spirit is leading the way as you gingerly approach the New Testament for the very first time. In that case, I envy you. There is nothing quite like the first time you taste what might become a favorite spice.
Spoiler alert: The Bible will enthrall our spiritual taste buds and will become our ultimate addiction. I pray we never recover. May this spiritual culinary experience transform us forever, from the inside out, for the better. That is gospel spice.
