Our mentor and protege start their journey to find their friends. Along the way they begin to unravel the mysteries of Rock!
Rock! is an unusual place as Johnnie and his mentor Bangdeedor begin to understand as they continue their journey to find Johnnies friends. There are a few bad people out there as well as some dodgy gods all looking for a quick and easy win. As an apprentice keyholder can Johnnie learn new skills to keep both himself , Bangdeedor and his friends alive long enough to return home.

Despite a dodgy start Johnnie begins to warm to his host Bangdeedor. However Rock! is a strange place and Bangdeedor is not that forthcoming with some of its secrets. Johnnie is a quick learner though and soon the relationship becomes a mentor and student one. Johnnie is desperate to find his friends and so they embark on a journey to find them and johnnie starts to uncover some very useful skills he didn't know he had.
