When I train skills instructors or when I work with couples on bunny hops, manuals (or skills in general) it drives me CRAZY: When the guy says "It's easy, just..." Because NO, for women and shorter riders it's often NOT easy! In this episode I share my experience as a full-time mtb skills coach (and the frustration I endured when I started riding, especially as a female student being taught moves by men that simply DIDN'T work). I also share WHY Mullet it more than marketing, why women and shorter, lighter, older or weaker riders need an adapted approach to learning skills and why LADIES - you need to stop comparing yourselves to men and why GENTLEMEN - you need to stop mansplaining! Oh and I share 2 professional coaching tools to analyze and disect movements to make faster progress!

Here's the video about the Bunny Hop I mention in this episode: YouTube Link to Bunny Hop Video

Here are my proven drills - especially effective for shorter riders and women - but proven to work for all heights and genders: https://roxybike.podia.com/mountain-bike-online-courses

It actually costs me many € every month, as I need to pay for hosting and spend a lot of time researching, recording, editing and publishing it.

Hi Roxy, Kiaz from Italy here, this is more than real.

And what about wrong sized bikers? Many vendors here  don't keep small sizes , and often try to tell "bigger Is more stable" to short riders .

The question is, would you like to be the pilot of your bike or the passenger ?

If you can't safe dismount on steep, your bike is wrong sized.

Absolutely agree - riding a bike that is too large is so dangerous and yes, unfortunately I have heard this, too...
