The voice of resilience and respect: Te Faatura
“Speaking out for Resilience and Respect” is a toolkit for women who have been victims of domestic violence and is designed to better support them during their efforts to rebuild their lives.
ilience and Respect" toolkit empowers women who have experienced domestic violence, helping them rebuild their lives with strength and support. Grounded in a culture of verbal expression, this resource features firsthand accounts from women and professionals, complemented by 19 engaging worksheets. Designed for easy access, the toolkit can be listened to as a podcast on the internet or via smartphone.
It also serves as a valuable resource for professionals in organisations dedicated to combating violence against women. Additionally, it can be utilized in experience-sharing workshops, inspiring others along their journeys.
This toolkit was developed by the En Terre Indigène association with and for women at the request of the French Polynesia Women’s Council as part of a call for projects by the French Ministry of Overseas Departments and Territories entitled “Let’s all take action to eliminate violence
against women”.
The project has received support from the French Polynesian Ministry of Solidarity, Housing, Women’s Rights, Family, and Dependant Persons, as well as the Pacific Community.
