Tiny Changes is Scotland’s first national young people’s mental health charity. We run projects with young leaders that help young minds feel better. The charity was set up originally by the family of Frightened Rabbit frontman Scott Hutchison, who took his own life in 2018.
Producer Kayla Megan-Burns took part in the charity's leadership programme in 2024-25, alongside four other project leaders aged under 30. The programme involved training, support and skills development. Each leader co-produced one mental health pilot project with Tiny Changes. Kayla's project was Tiny Changes Big Podcast. Made by and for young people, Kayla has created space for six honest conversations about what it's really like to work in the music industry today.
Host Be Charlotte is an award winning Scottish musician who has toured globally (including sharing stages with Frightened Rabbit.) Her debut album charted at number 3 and her collaboration with Rod Wave on Lost In Love hit number 2 on the Billboard Chart in 2024. Be Charlotte founded Enough Records to address gender inequalities in the music industry and empower young artist collaboration via Scotland’s first all women / gender minorities songwriting retreats.
